First Days Home
I've been giving Mommy and Daddy a run for their money and keeping them up at night, which is why they haven't been so good about taking or posting new pictures. Here are a few of my first few days home.

First evening home.

Hanging out with Dad.

I fell asleep in my sling with Mommy carrying me, and then I was put in my crib for the first time. First nap in my crib!

Just had my dinner.

Ready to go to my first Doctor's visit!

On my way to Doctor's.
Waiting at Doctor's office with Babcia Alina. My Doctor's visit went great. I cried a little, but you would, too, if they made you get naked and prodded you in all sorts of places! The Doctor said all is well! I'm 8lbs12oz already and 22 inches long and in good health!

Family Shots
I will keep this short, as my exhaustion is affecting my ability to put coherent sentences together... :) Thank you to everyone for the warm words and prayers. I went home from the hospital on Saturday, and as much as it is nice to be in your own bed, one member of the family is missing in the house... James is doing better and better by the minute, though! He was moved from the warming bed to the incubator to his little bed. He is starting to eat more and more, although we're still working on getting the breastfeeding down. We go in to see him every other feeding, and he still is fed my milk, when I'm not there. He is scheduled to be discharged on Thursday and we're counting down the hours! We will keep you posted. Now, for some new pictures of the star of the hour!

1 Day Old
The pediatrician told us that James is progressing in the right direction. His X-rays looked better today. They hope to wean him off of the oxygen by tomorrow. However they want to continue the antibiotics treatment for 7 days. Therefore he will remain in the NICU until Thursday after which we can take him home. Joanna is doing well, quite sore obviously, but in good spirits.

Happy Birthday Seamus!
Seamus finally decided to put in an appearance today, all 8 lb 7.5 ounces of him. It took 12.5 hours of labor, without a single drop of a drug I might add, for him to come out. Joanna did wonderfully and hung in there the whole time determined to deliver naturally, which she did. However there was some inhalation of meconium and Seamus had some problems breathing. After some chest X-rays he was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He is being watched constantly and should hopefully be able to be released anywhere from 3 -10 days. We are both very optimistic as he seems to be very strong and still kicks like crazy, he just has some trouble breathing. Joanna and I will return home on Saturday and we hope Seamus won't be too far behind.
